Embrace the Spirit of One: Journey Through Nioh 2 with Fellow Warriors!
One embodies the chaos of war and betrayal, a master of transformation. As the ultimate duality of man and yokai, they navigate the shadows of deception, blending skill and cunning, challenging fate with every fierce, fluid strike.
In Nioh 2, the character design of the protagonist was influenced by actual historical figures, one of which is Tameko, a powerful warrior from Japan's Sengoku period.
In Nioh 2, there's a yokai named the Kija, which is based on a legendary creature resembling a dragon that is often depicted in Japanese folklore as having the ability to transform into a person.

Absolutely loving playing through this right now. If you like the old-school combat/puzzle mix that quite a few old jpgs have - this game is gonna blow you away. Dungeons, puzzles, bosses, nice progression - it's a love letter in the best sense of the phrase. Worth every penny and then some.
This game is such a beautiful love letter to old school JRPGs. Real Golden Sun vibes at times. If you enjoy any of what I just mentioned, it's worth giving this one a shot.
It's fun thinking about this game. I think it's a great game for people to play even if they don't have the nostalgia. Holds up well. Steam Deck verified (naturally). There are more and more indie FPS games inspired by Half-Life 2 and some of its styles and gameplay loops - and all of them are so fun. O.G. Halo + This, and you have the backbone and inspiration of a lot of great games.
