Vietcong Fun Facts

The Vietcong built an extensive network of tunnels, known as the Cu Chi Tunnels, which were used for hiding during combat, as well as serving as communication and supply routes, hospitals, food and weapon caches, and living quarters.
The Vietcong used a variety of booby traps, ingeniously crafted from unexploded American bombs and household items, to target U.S. soldiers, including the notorious punji stick traps—sharpened bamboo stakes hidden in pits.
