Under the Bridge: Dive into the Whimsical World of Arakawa
In a quirky riverside world, Kou Ichinomiya finds love and absurdity under Arakawa Bridge amidst an eclectic mix of misfits, from a Venusian to a nun with combat skills. Chaos and hilarity intertwine, challenging Kou’s rigid views on life and success.
The characters in Arakawa Under the Bridge are inspired by the mythological and fantastical elements, adding unique and eccentric personalities to the story.
The series' unique setting under a bridge in Tokyo was inspired by the author's own childhood memories of playing near rivers.

Season 1 was one of my favorite anime binges in a long time. Such a fun mix of thoughtfulness (movement through time), silliness, and cool scenes (The Ruins of The King's Tomb). I can't wait to watch season 2. I know it's airing as I write this, but I like taking in entire seasons at once if I can manage it.
