A mysterious ex-agent awakens in a bizarre village, stripped of identity and freedom. Battling mind games, surreal encounters, and a relentless Number 2, he seeks answers and autonomy while uncovering the true nature of captivity and control.
The iconic Village set in The Prisoner was filmed in Portmeirion, Wales, which was designed in the style of an Italian village by architect Clough Williams-Ellis.
The show's creator and star, Patrick McGoohan, famously refused to disclose the meaning of the series, leading to various interpretations and theories among fans.

Season 1 was one of my favorite anime binges in a long time. Such a fun mix of thoughtfulness (movement through time), silliness, and cool scenes (The Ruins of The King's Tomb). I can't wait to watch season 2. I know it's airing as I write this, but I like taking in entire seasons at once if I can manage it.
