Nejire Hado’s name is a literal nod to her Quirk: “Nejire” (ねじれ) means “twist” or “spiral” and “Hado” (波動) means “wave” or “wave motion,” so her full name basically reads as “spiral wave,” which describes her Wave Motion ability.
