Junk Jack Fun Facts

The PC release 'Junk Jack X' isn’t just a straight port of the original mobile game — it was effectively rebuilt from the ground up with new mechanics, items and a different save format, so worlds/characters from the original Junk Jack couldn’t be used directly in Junk Jack X.

Obscurity Level: Obscure
Although it looks like a straightforward 2D pixel sandbox, Junk Jack simulates liquids block-by-block (water and lava), and players discovered they could exploit that behavior to build flowing-water elevators, traps and intricate decorative waterfalls — turning the fluid system into a surprisingly deep tool for creative engineering.

Donkey Kong Country

One of my favorite games ever. Does anyone else remember the promotional VHS tape that Nintendo Power sent out to promote this game? As a kid, that was the coolest thing. I bought a Super Nintendo because of it.

Easy Delivery Co.

Easy Delivery Co. is such a wonderful gem of a game. If you have a retro driving itch, this is a great pick. I was looking for an atmospheric driving game, and this satisfied that itch perfectly. While the graphics are PS1 era, the snow brought me back to the Donkey Kong Country snow/blizzard level - and it was just perfect. Highly recommend checking this one out.
