Galen Marek, also known as Starkiller, is a secret apprentice of Darth Vader and was originally created for the Star Wars: The Force Unleashed video game, where he was designed to be a character powerful enough to challenge iconic Jedi like Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda.
Galen Marek's original design was inspired by the character design of the protagonist from the 2006 game, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, and his likeness was based on actor Sam Witwer, who also provided his voice and motion capture performance.
