In Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, there's a character named Symone who you can escort in a quest. Depending on how well you perform in the quest, especially in terms of keeping up with her and bringing her to her desired locations, she can gift you a Golden Idol, which is a valuable item that grants access to rare and powerful equipment when given to the right merchant.
